Vice President C P Radhakrishnan and Prime Minister Narendra Modi have expressed sorrow over the devastation caused by the severe earthquakes in Venezuela. In a social media post, Mr Radhakrishnan said that his thoughts are with those who have lost their loved ones, the injured, and the countless families whose lives have been disrupted. The Vice President said that he joined  the people of India in expressing sympathy and solidarity with the people of Venezuela.

 

In a social media post, The Prime Minister has extended condolences to the Government and the people of Venezuela, especially the families who lost their loved ones. He prayed for the speedy recovery of those injured. Mr Modi said that India stands in solidarity with all those affected. Mr Modi assured to extend all possible assistance.
