In a social media post, Mr Modi said that he had carved out a unique place for himself in the field of Gujarati music, carrying forward the rich musical tradition of his father Avinash Vyas.

Mr Modi added that the demise of Gaurang Vyas leaves Gujarat feeling the loss of a talented creator and said that his invaluable contribution to the Gujarati music scene will always be remembered.
