Prime Minister Narendra Modi congratulated javelin thrower Yashvir Singh on winning the Silver with a personal best and Rohit Yadav on bringing home the Bronze meda at the Asian Games. Sharing a thread on a social media platform, Mr Modi extended best wishes to Parul Chaudhary on winning bronze in the Women’s 5 thousand metres. He also conveyed best wishes to Gulveer Singh on winning the Silver in the Men’s 1500 metres. Mr Modi noted that Gulveer’s achievement becomes more special as it was a personal best. The Prime Minister also congratulated Vithya Ramraj on claiming the Bronze medal in the Women’s 4 hundred metres hurdles. He wished that Vithya keep scaling new heights of success in the times to come.

Further, Mr Modi congratulated Murali Sreeshankar, saying that his leap earned him a place on the Men’s Long Jump podium. The Prime Minister extended his best wishes to all the athletes for their future.
