Prime Minister Narendra Modi has congratulated Manisha Keer, Neeru and Aashima Ahlawat on winning the Silver medal in the Women’s Trap Team event at the Asian Games. In a social media post, Mr Modi described their performance as a commendable display of precision, focus and teamwork. The Prime Minister wished the entire team continued success and expressed hope that they would bring more laurels to India.

 

Meanwhile, PM Modi also congratulated Kiran Pahal, Poovamma MR, Prachi and Vithya Ramraj on their performance in the Women’s 4×400 meter Relay at the Asian Games. He lauded their speed and determination, which powered India to the top of the podium. The Prime Minister noted that this is a proud moment for Indian athletics and a wonderful example of what teamwork can achieve. He also wished the athletes well for the endeavours ahead.
