Prime Minister Narendra Modi has congratulated players for securing victory in the Asian Games 2026. In a social media post, Mr Modi congratulated Prachi Choudhary on winning the Bronze medal in the Women’s 400 meter at the Asian Games. He said that her excellent performance has earned India a memorable place on the podium.
The Prime Minister also congratulated Tajinderpal Singh Toor on winning the Silver medal in the Men’s Shot Put with an impressive throw. Mr Modi said that Tajinderpal has consistently brought laurels to the nation through his focus and perseverance. The Prime Minister added that Another Asian Games medal is a fitting addition to his remarkable journey.
Mr Modi congratulated Manush Shah and Diya Chitale on winning the Bronze medal in the Mixed Doubles Table Tennis event at the Asian Games. He noted that this medal adds another proud moment to the rising popularity of Table Tennis in India. He said that their determination will inspire many young players to take up the sport and aim higher.
The Prime Minister also extended greetings to Tilottama Sen, Vidarsa Vinod Kochalumkal and Ashi Chouksey. He congratulated them on winning the Silver medal in the Women’s 50 meter Rifle 3 Positions Team event at the Asian Games.
