Prime Minister Narendra Modi has congratulated Jadumani Singh Mandengbam on winning the silver medal in the Men’s 55-kilogram boxing event at the Commonwealth Games 2026 in Glasgow. In a social media post, the Prime Minister said that Jadumani Singh Mandengbam’s success reflects his courage, discipline and perseverance.

Mr Modi also congratulated Shubham Juyal on winning the silver medal in the Men’s Shot Put F57 event. The Prime Minister lauded Shubham Juyal’s powerful technique and commitment to the sport. The Prime Minister has congratulated Selva Prabhu Thirumaran on winning the bronze medal in jump at the Glasgow Commonwealth Games 2026.

The Prime Minister noted that Selva Prabhu Thirumaran registered a personal best jump to secure the medal. Mr Modi also congratulated Praveen Chithravel on winning the silver medal in the Men’s Triple Jump event at the Commonwealth Games 2026. The Prime Minister expressed delight that Praveen Chithravel also registered the best jump of his sporting career. The Prime Minister wished all the athletes every success in their future endeavours.
