Prime Minister Narendra Modi has congratulated the Men’s Badminton Team on winning the Bronze Medal at the Asian Games 2026. In a social media post, the Prime Minister said that the medal reflects their passion and hard work. Mr Modi said that the entire team displayed great spirit throughout the competition and wished them for the events ahead.
The Prime Minister also congratulated Parinaaz Dhaliwal and Anantjeet Singh Naruka on winning the Bronze Medal in the Skeet Mixed Team event. Mr Modi said that their achievement marks India’s first-ever medal in this event at the Asian Games. Wishing the players, he said that their success inspires many more milestones in the times to come.
Mr Modi also congratulated Seema on winning the Bronze Medal in the Women’s 10,000m at the Asian Games. He said that her determined performance has brought India a medal in this event after many years. The Prime Minister described it as a wonderful achievement that reflects endurance, discipline and years of hard work and wished her many more successes in the times ahead.
