Prime Minister Narendra Modi has congratulated BJP candidate Debangshu Panda for winning the Falta assembly repoll with a record margin.

In a social media post, the Prime Minister said that the victory indicates the unwavering faith of the people of West Bengal towards the BJP. He said that the people are witnessing the exceptional work of the West Bengal Government across sectors and have therefore decided to further bless the party.

Mr Modi also complimented BJP workers across West Bengal for their outstanding work. He expressed hope that all will continue working for the progress of West Bengal in the times to come.
