Prime Minister Narendra Modi has congratulated Abhay Singh and Anahat Singh on winning the silver medal in Men’s Singles Squash and Women’s Singles Squash at the Asian Games 2026. In a social media post, Mr Modi said that this achievement reflects Abhay Singh’s years of hard work, skill, and determination. He also commended Anahat Singh for showing tremendous skill while competing against some of the finest players.

The Prime Minister also congratulated Ancy Sojan on winning the silver medal in the Women’s Long Jump. He said that her strong and spirited performance has brought immense joy to the nation. Mr Modi also extended his greetings to Harita Bhadra for winning the Bronze Medal in the Women’s 200 Metres event at the Asian Games 2026. He said that this is Harita Bhadra’s Asian Games debut, and she raced with confidence and determination to secure a place on the podium.
