Prime Minister Narendra Modi today expressed grief at the passing of renowned Film maker Bharathiraja. In a social media post, Mr Modi said Bharathiraja was a towering figure of the cinema world whose works transformed Tamil cinema. Prime Minister noted that the filmmaker portrayed rural life is particularly admired. He also conveyed condolences to his family and fans.
