At the Pickleball World Cup 2026, India remained unbeaten on the opening day of the Team Event in Da Nang, Vietnam. The tournament is being held till the 6th of this month. This marks the end of the league stage, where a dominant India defeated Antigua and Barbuda, Israel and the Czech Republic. The Indian Pro squad recorded dominant victories over Antigua and Barbuda and Israel, winning both ties 6-0. India then defeated the Czech Republic 5-1 to top the league stage.
The team will now face Portugal in the Round of 32. India’s Senior squad also had a strong start, defeating Germany and Nepal 4-0 each to advance to the Round of 32. India has bagged a total of 37 medals so far in the tournament, including six gold, 16 silver and 15 bronze. Unbeaten through the team league stage, India is currently at the 4th spot in the medal tally.
