Union Minister of Petroleum and Natural Gas Hardeep Singh Puri today said that there is no shortage of Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) in the country. He said the government is expanding the supply of Piped Natural Gas (PNG) to households, and efforts are being made to convert LPG connections to PNG connections.

Mr Puri also noted that some people are trying to exploit the current global situation by creating artificial shortages and spreading misinformation. He further added that the government has taken immediate and stringent action against such activities.
