Parliamentary Affairs Minister Kiren Rijiju alleged that Congress members did not speak on the provisions of the Public Examinations (Prevention of Unfair Means) Amendment Bill, 2026, during the debate and raised unrelated political issues. He said the amendment has been introduced in response to the concerns and demands of students and asserted that the Prime Minister’s decision to bring the Bill has strengthened students’ confidence in the examination system.
