A Pakistan Army Aviation Mi-17 helicopter crashed near Muzaffarabad in Pakistan-occupied Jammu and Kashmir during take-off today, reportedly due to a technical fault. According to Pakistani media reports citing the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), all personnel on board were killed in the crash. The military’s media wing said there were no survivors.
Recovery teams were dispatched to the crash site to carry out rescue and recovery operations. The exact cause of the crash remains unclear.
