Rupee appreciates by 68 paise against US dollar

  In the forex market today, the rupee appreciated by 68 paise to close at 94 rupees and 61 paise against the US dollar. The dollar index, which indicates US dollar's strength against a basket of six other leading currencies, was trading at 97.73 in intra-day trade.
