In Madhya Pradesh, more than 7,500 meritorious students of Class 12th will receive e-scooters under the Chief Minister’s Scooty Scheme during a state-level programme in Bhopal on the 16th of this month.
Students of government higher secondary schools who secure at least 70 percent marks in Class 12 in their first attempt and stood first in their school are eligible for the scheme. Students from all streams are covered.
The initiative aims to help students travel conveniently to and from college for higher studies. So far, more than 23,000 students have benefited from the scheme, with around 246 crore rupees spent on it.
