Over 15,000 locations join 82nd ‘Fit India Sundays on Cycle

Union Minister for Youth Affairs and Sports Dr Mansukh Mandaviya today participated in the 82nd edition of the ‘Sunday on Cycle’ in New Delhi. The event witnessed the participation of personnel from Ayushman Arogya Mandirs across the country.

Talking to the media, Dr Mandaviya said that health workers joined the campaign by cycling at more than 15,000 locations nationwide, reinforcing Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s Sunday on Cycle movement. He said the initiative has conveyed a strong message of health, fitness and environmental responsibility.

The minister said cycling is a small effort that brings immense benefits. He urged people to dedicate one hour every Sunday to cycling, saying it helps maintain fitness, reduces pollution and contributes to saving the country’s fuel resources. He called upon citizens to make cycling a regular part of their lifestyle for a healthier and fitter India.
