Global crude oil prices climbed today as escalating attacks between the US and Iran heightened tensions across the Gulf. Brent crude was trading 2.1 per cent up at 86 US dollars and two cents per barrel in intra-day trade. West Texas Intermediate crude was trading 2.6 per cent higher at 81 US dollars and two cents per barrel, when reports last came in.
