NTA to conduct NEET-UG 2026 re-examination across UAE tomorrow

The National Testing Agency (NTA) will conduct the NEET-UG 2026 re-examination across the United Arab Emirates tomorrow. The examination will be held in pen-and-paper mode at three designated centres – The Indian High School in Dubai, Sharjah Indian School in Sharjah, and Abu Dhabi Indian School in Abu Dhabi.

The UAE continues to be the largest overseas centre for the NEET examination, with 2,214 candidates expected to appear for the re-examination on June 21. This is higher than the 2,028 candidates who appeared in the original examination held on May 3.

According to official figures, 885 candidates are expected to take the examination at The Indian High School in Dubai, compared to 825 earlier. Sharjah Indian School will host 768 candidates, up from 701, while Abu Dhabi Indian School will see 561 candidates appear, compared to 502 in the previous examination.

The examination will be conducted from 12:30 PM to 3:45 PM UAE time. Candidates have been advised to report well in advance, as the main entrance gates of the examination centres will open at 9:30 AM.

Consul General of India in Dubai, Shri Satish Kumar Sivan, said that the Consulate has worked closely with the National Testing Agency and partner schools in Dubai, Sharjah and Abu Dhabi to ensure a smooth and secure testing environment. He said the primary focus is to provide all 2,214 candidates with a stress-free examination experience. Shri Sivan urged candidates to carefully check their admit cards, follow the prescribed dress code and reach their designated centres well before the gate closure time to avoid any inconvenience.

The NTA has advised candidates to download their admit cards from the official NEET website and carry the required photographs along with a valid identity document. Candidates have also been asked to regularly check the NTA and NEET websites for the latest updates related to the examination.
