NTA launches Pariksha Karmayogi programme for Examination Officials

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has launched the Pariksha Karmayogi: Capacity-Building Programme for Examination Officials on the iGOT Karmayogi Bharat platform. The initiative aims to strengthen supervision and invigilation processes for NTA examinations and ensure the smooth, secure, and standardised conduct of offline, pen-and-paper-based tests. NTA said that the course is designed for examination functionaries, particularly Centre Superintendents and Invigilators, who are involved in conducting NTA examinations, including NEET (UG).

The programme comprises four modules covering the entire examination lifecycle. Module 1 introduces the course and outlines the role of examination functionaries in maintaining fairness, transparency, and integrity in the examination process. While Module 2 focuses on pre-examination preparedness, including centre readiness, security arrangements, and adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

Module 3 addresses examination-day operations, which include, before the examination, at the beginning of the examination, during the examination, and after the examination. Module 4 provides a Quick Reference Guide, offering a concise recap of key instructions and responsibilities.

NTA said that the initiative is aimed at enhancing procedural compliance, operational efficiency, and accountability at examination centres across the country.
