Bringing festive cheer to Dalal Street, both the National Stock Exchange and the Bombay Stock Exchange will host the special Diwali Muhurat Trading session today.

According to the circulars released by the exchanges, the markets will open at 2:20 PM and close at 3:30 PM. The one-hour session also marks the beginning of the new Hindu financial year, Vikram Samvat 2083, and coincides with Diwali celebrations. All trades executed during this session will carry normal settlement obligations.
