National Security Adviser Ajit Doval underlined to Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi that stable, predictable and constructive bilateral relations will contribute to enhanced trust and deeper understanding between the two sides. External Affairs Ministry spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal said this in response to a media query on discussions during the visit of Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi to India for the BRICS NSAs meeting. He said NSA Doval also emphasized the importance of sensitivity being consistently displayed to each other’s issues of core concern. The spokesperson added that this would be in keeping with India’s overall approach of mutual sensitivity, mutual interests and mutual respect.
