BJP National President Nitin Nabin is on a three-day visit to Uttarakhand. On the second day of his visit today, he will participate in various programmes. On the first day, a meeting of the State Ministerial Group and Core Committee was held at the party office in Dehradun under the chairmanship of the National President. Addressing the meeting, he said that in the upcoming Assembly elections, the Bharatiya Janata Party will create a hat-trick of victory with the support of the public and party workers.

The meeting held detailed discussions on organisational expansion, booth strengthening, public outreach campaigns, and the roadmap for upcoming programmes. Deliberations were also held on taking the public welfare schemes of the Central and State Governments to the grassroots level. Emphasis was laid on strengthening the organisation and enhancing the active role of party workers. Discussions were also held on further accelerating the development of the state under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. State BJP President Mahendra Bhatt said that party leaders will undertake field visits to those booths where the party had received fewer votes in the previous elections. He added that they will hold meetings with local workers to strengthen the organisation at the booth level.
