In Punjab, the NITI Aayog’s Sampoornta Abhiyaan, for aspirational districts and blocks kicked off yesterday. Under the Sampoorna Abhiyaan continuous efforts will be made to achieve six key indicators. 

NITI Aayog’s Sampoornta Abhiyan covers two aspirational districts and ten blocks of Punjab. Here, awareness campaigns will be run on various important works related to health, nutrition, agriculture and social progress. A large number of people from the area reached the Sampoornta Abhiyaan function organized at the Government Senior Secondary School, Ferozepur yesterday. School teacher Amanpreet Talwar described this Abhiyaan as very beneficial for the development of backward areas.

Similarly, Sampoornta Abhiyaan functions were organized in Ajnala of Amritsar district, Dera Baba Nanak of Gurdaspur district while it will be started in the remaining blocks in the coming days.
