Nine people killed in overnight Russian air strikes across Ukraine

At least nine people have been killed and dozens injured in Russian overnight attacks across Ukraine. According to regional governor Ivan Fedorov, six people were killed and 19 injured in Zaporizhzhia. He said rockets and guided aerial bombs were used in the attacks. In the Dnipropetrovsk region, three people were killed and five injured in Russian drone and artillery strikes, officials said. In Kyiv, Mayor Vitaliy Klitschko said the capital came under a ballistic attack. Emergency services reported a warehouse fire and one person injured.

Meanwhile, Russia’s Defence Ministry said it struck defence industry and transport and logistics targets in Kyiv and Zaporizhzhia. It also said that 396 Ukrainian drones were intercepted and destroyed over 15 Russian regions.
