New Delhi will host a textile conclave tomorrow to discuss emerging technologies in the textile sector. Addressing a press conference in New Delhi today, National General Secretary of Laghu Udyog Bharti, Om Prakash Gupta said, the conclave will bring together 400 micro and small industries associated with the textile sector from across the country. He informed that Union Textile Minister Giriraj Singh will inaugurate the conclave.

Mr Gupta added that Free Trade Agreements with different countries are expected to open up new markets, which will be a key topic of discussion at the event. Mr Gupta said the participants will be briefed about the government’s vision, policies and schemes related to textile sector. He said that the textile sector is providing employment to around 4.5 crore people across the country.
