In Maharashtra, a new daily express train between Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus (CSMT) in Mumbai and Sawantwadi Road in the Sindhudurg district of Konkan will be inaugurated today.

Central Railway said that the inaugural service will be flagged off from the CSMT in the presence of Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis.

Union Commerce and Industry Minister Piyush Goyal and Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw will attend the function via video link. The inaugural special train will depart CSMT at 12.50 pm and reach Sawantwadi Road at 2 am the next day.

The train will halt at Dadar, Thane, Panvel, Pen, Roha, Mangaon, Veer, Khed, Chiplun, Savarda, Aravali Road, Sangameshwar Road, Ratnagiri, Adavali, Valivade, Rajapur Road, Vaibhavwadi Road, Nandgaon Road, Kankavli, Sindhudurg and Kudal.
