NDA adopts resolution lauding PM Modi’s longest-serving term as elected Prime Minister

 
The National Democratic Alliance (NDA) today adopted a resolution lauding Prime Minister Narendra Modi on achieving the feat of becoming India’s longest-serving elected Prime Minister. During the conclave of NDA at Bharat mandapam in New Delhi, a special political resolution was moved praising Mr Modi’s leadership. The meeting is being held to celebrate NDA government completing 12 years and Prime Minister Narendra Modi becoming the longest continuously serving elected PM of India. 
Moving the resolution Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu said, it is a historic tribute to India’s longest-serving continuously elected Prime Minister, Narendra Modi. He is the right leader, at the right time, in the right place, to serve as the Prime Minister of this great nation.  
In a social media post, Mr Modi thanked the Chief Ministers and leaders of the NDA for their warm wishes. He said, the NDA’s journey has been defined by a shared resolve to further national interest and regional aspirations. The Prime Minister said, this spirit has strengthened the democracy, deepened cooperative federalism and accelerated development. He said, over the last 12 years, the NDA has provided a stable government that has furthered progress across sectors. Mr Modi said, NDA will continue working together with renewed vigour in service of the nation and the vision of Viksit Bharat.
All constituents of the National Democratic Alliance (NDA), along with the top leadership of the BJP, attended the meeting. The conclave was also attended by the Chief Ministers and Deputy Chief Ministers of all 22 NDA-governed states and Union Territories, as well as leaders of the alliance partners.
Among those present were BJP President Nitin Nabin, TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu, JD(U) leader Sanjay Jha, Shiv Sena chief Eknath Shinde, LJP(R) leader Chirag Paswan, NCP leader Sunetra Pawar, JSP leader Pawan Kalyan, HAM leader Jitan Ram Manjhi, JD(S) leader H D Kumaraswamy and RLD leader Jayant Chaudhary.
The meeting also focused on reviewing key national development and infrastructure programmes, as well as the Modi government’s roadmap for transforming India into a developed nation by 2047.
