Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) conducted a six day orientation programme for the recently inducted Zonal Directors and Assistant Directors at its headquarters from 1st to 6th of this month. The programme was inaugurated by NCB Director General, who familiarised the officers with the Bureau’s operational priorities, inter-agency coordination mechanisms, and best practices through a series of expert sessions. The officers were also briefed about a three year national road map for control of drugs and responsibilities of Zonal Directors. After the programme, officers were posted to various NCB Zones across the country to strengthen NCB pan India presence.
