Ahead of Independence Day, the ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ campaign is bringing a strong feeling of patriotism across Madhya Pradesh. Tiranga rallies and many other programmes are being organised across the state. The campaign is being held from August 9 to 17 and was started by Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav with a Tiranga rally in Bhopal. After this, Tiranga rallies, bike rallies and cycle rallies are being organised across the state. People have been urged to hoist the national flag at their homes, shops and establishments from August 13 to 15.
Tripura Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha said the ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ campaign symbolises patriotism, national consciousness and respect for freedom fighters. He said the Tricolour represents India’s unity, sovereignty and the supreme sacrifices of the martyrs. The Chief Minister made the remarks while flagging off a Tiranga Rally from the Ujjayanta Palace premises in Agartala this evening, organised by the Information and Cultural Affairs Department.
The Har Ghar Tiranga campaign is gaining momentum across Maharashtra ahead of Independence Day, with patriotic rallies, cultural programmes and other activities being organised across the state. In Panvel, the Municipal Corporation organised Swartiranga, a special patriotic musical programme marking 150 years of Vande Mataram. In Nanded, thousands of school students, NCC cadets, Scouts and Guides and teachers participated in a Tiranga Rally.
In Jammu and Kashmir, the Reasi district administration today organised a Tiranga Boat Rally in the River Chenab as part of the celebrations marking 150 years of ‘Vande Mataram’, alongside the Har Ghar Tiranga campaign, with the aim of fostering patriotic spirit among the people ahead of the Independence Day celebrations. Akashvani Jammu Correspondent reports that the rally witnessed enthusiastic participation from police personnel, officials and local residents, who carried the National Flag while navigating the might Chenab river. The rally provided a unique and adventurous platform to celebrate the spirit of patriotism, with the Tricolour fluttering proudly against the scenic backdrop of the Chenab.
The tribal-dominated Bastar region of Chhattisgarh, once severely affected by Maoist violence, is witnessing a Tiranga Yatra. A large number of youth are participating in this Tiranga yatra along with Deputy Chief Minister Vijay Sharma.
A two-wheeler rally was organised in Mizoram today as part of the ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ campaign, with BJP state president and MLA Dr K Beichhua flagging it off from Sikulpuikawn Traffic Point. The rally passed through Zarkawt Traffic Point and culminated at Mipui Rûn in Upper Republic, where a gathering was held.
