Nagaland unit of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) organised a two-wheeler rally ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ in Kohima today as part of the nationwide campaign to promote the spirit of patriotism and national unity. The rally was flagged off by Nagaland Minister for Higher Education and Tourism, Temjen Imna Along, from Eco Park, Kohima. Earlier, addressing the gathering, he urged citizens, particularly the youth, to carry the national flag with pride and respect as the state joins the nationwide commemoration of the 80th Independence Day.
Mr Along said the Tricolour symbolises national integration, pride and the identity of every citizen as part of the nation. He called upon the people of Nagaland to make the Tricolour a source of pride and participate in the celebrations with a sense of responsibility. The two-wheeler rally saw BJP members and supporters participating with the Tricolour, carrying the message of national pride and encouraging citizens to display the national flag in their homes as part of the Har Ghar Tiranga campaign
