Mucherla to be developed as fourth city in capital region, says Telangana CM

Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy has unveiled the government’s plan to develop a fourth city after Hyderabad, Secunderabad and Cyberabad, with all facilities at Mucherla and claimed it will be the future city of the State.

 

The government has acquired land for the developing pharma city and the Young India Skills University. The Chief Minister informed to the Assembly while interfering in the discussion on the Appropriation Bill yesterday. 

 

Mr Reddy also said, a health city has been proposed in a thousand acres area to make the city a healthcare hub in the coming days. He explained that the government will focus on the development of sports infrastructure on the pharma city land by constructing a world-class stadium for hosting international matches.

 

The Chief Minister said, his government was committed to improving the infrastructure to ensure world-class sportspersons emerge from the state.

 

He also said the government is committed to provide Group-I level jobs to boxer Nikhat Zareen and bowler Mohammed Siraj who brought laurels to the city and letters will be issued to them soon.

 

He further said, an Artificial Intelligence hub will be established in the same vicinity that will be spread over 200 acres.
