MP: Govt transfers over 3300 cr rupees in more than 82 lakh farmers’ accounts 

 
Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav today attended the Balram Krishi Mahotsav in Khandwa district. On the occasion, the Chief Minister transferred over 3,300 crore to the bank accounts of more than 82 lakh farmers under the Chief Minister Kisan Kalyan Yojana. He also felicitated progressive farmers adopting modern agricultural practices.
Speaking on the occasion, the Chief Minister said, the government is taking continuous steps to increase farmers’ income and make agriculture more profitable. Farmers were informed about modern farming techniques, improved seeds, natural farming, crop diversification, water conservation, drone technology and smart irrigation.
The Balram Krishi Mahotsavs are being organised across Madhya Pradesh as part of the state’s Year of Farmers’ Welfare initiative.
