MoS Ravneet Singh lays foundation stones for two Road Over Bridge projects in Punjab’s Jalandhar

Union Minister of State for Railways, Ravneet Singh, laid foundation stones for two key Road Over Bridge (ROB) projects at Jalandhar in Punjab today. He informed that Guru Nanak Pura ROB on the Jalandhar City-Jalandhar Cantt section will be constructed at a cost of ₹48.95 crore, the other one, the Bus stand-Garha Road ROB, would cost Rs. 63.98 crore. Both projects will be fully funded by the Railways.
 
The Minister said that the projects will pave the way for safer roads, faster movement and improved connectivity for thousands of residents of Jalandhar and surrounding areas. He said the central government is committed to ensure infrastructure development for the benefit of every citizen. He said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Punjab is witnessing unprecedented investment in railway infrastructure and safety projects.
