Minister of State for Communications, Dr Chandra Sekhar Pemmasani today reviewed the next phase of Samriddh Gram initiative with Department of Telecommunications, startups and service partners. In a social media post, Dr Pemmasani said that BharatNet brought fibre to the villages, while Samriddh Gram has facilitated it to work such as health, education, e-governance and livelihood services under one roof, with local help at hand. The Minister noted that during the meeting they discussed innovative models to expand across districts, realising Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision of technology at every village’s doorstep.

Dr. Pemmasani also reviewed the India Post Customer 360 self-service platform, which is designed to streamline logistics and operations for business customers. He noted that the platform unifies postal bookings and digital wallet management into a single interface. The platform features real-time analytics, faster bulk processing, and integrated customs query tracking. The Minister said that direct user feedback continues to guide continuous upgrades, ensuring a smarter, faster and more reliable experience for the users.
