The Monsoon Session of Delhi Legislative Assembly began today. On the first day of the session, members of the house raised issues concerning their respective constituencies. During the session, Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta tabled the Comptroller Auditor General’s report on the Delhi Government for the year ended on 31st March, 2023, in the House. Delhi Cabinet Minister Kapil Mishra also introduced the Delhi Bed and Breakfast Establishments (Repeal) Bill, 2026 in the House.
Meanwhile, Delhi Chief Minister received warm welcome from women at the Assembly premises following the implementation of the Delhi Lakshmi Yojana. Talking to media, Ms Gupta said that the Delhi government has fulfilled its promise to women with the implementation of the scheme. She added that the government will continue to work for women’s dignity, safety and empowerment.
