Mizoram Chief Minister Pu Lalduhoma said that the state has made remarkable progress under an atmosphere of peace and stability, and appealed to the people to work together in building a peaceful and harmonious state.
In his message marking the 40th anniversary of Peace Accord Day, the Chief Minister said that peace and stability are essential for sustained development. He stated that the state is now among the country’s more developed states and has become an increasingly popular destination for tourists.
Governor, Gen (Retd.) Vijay Kumar Singh said that Mizoram’s peace and stability are not only a source of pride for the state but also a valuable model for the rest of the country.
