MHA to undertake Special Campaign 6.0 from 2nd October to promote clean, sustainable workplaces

The Ministry of Home Affairs will undertake Special Campaign-6 from the 2nd of next month, with a focus on creating sustainable and environment-friendly workplaces.
 
 
The special campaign is designed in accordance with the Prime Minister’s vision to institutionalise Swachhata, which aims to minimize pendency in Government offices, besides promoting cleanliness, streamlining work, addressing pending grievances. The Ministry said that the Central Armed Police Forces and Central Police Organizations have been sensitized to put effort in attaining the objectives of the campaign. It also highlighted that the Ministry and its field and outstation offices made significant progress in the disposal of pending matters and creation of a cleaner and more efficient workplace during November 2025 to August this year.
 
 
The Government has launched the ‘Special Campaign 6.0’ for Swachhata in Government offices and the disposal of pending matters, to be conducted from the 2nd to the 31st of next month. This is the sixth annual edition of the cleanliness drive, coordinated by the Department of Administrative Reforms and Public Grievances. Special Campaign 1.0 began in 2021.
