The Weather Department has issued a forecast for Jammu and Kashmir till July 3. The MeT Department said the region is expected to remain generally dry till the afternoon of June 29, with brief spells of light rain, thundershowers and gusty winds likely at scattered places during the late afternoon hours. However, from June 30 to July 3, the weather is expected to change, with fresh spells of light-to-moderate rain accompanied by brief intense thundershowers and gusty winds likely at many places across the Union Territory.
