In Men’s Cricket, India will face England in the fourth T20 International of the five-match series at the County Ground in Bristol tonight. The match will begin at 10 PM IST.

 

India trails the series 0-2, making this a must-win game to stay alive. Captain Shreyas Iyer and head coach Gautam Gambhir are under pressure after India’s heavy 125-run defeat in the third T20I match.

 

One of the biggest selection questions is whether Sanju Samson will return to the playing XI after missing the last two matches. India’s batting has struggled throughout the series. Vice-captain Tilak Varma has failed to make an impact, while the bowling attack has also disappointed, with spinner Varun Chakaravarthy taking just one wicket so far.

 

England, led by Harry Brook, enters the match with confidence. Opener Phil Salt is back in form after scoring 70 in the last game, while fast bowlers Jofra Archer and Josh Tongue have troubled India’s batters with their pace and bounce.

 

England will aim to seal the series with another victory, while India hopes to bounce back and force the contest into the final T20I in Southampton on Saturday.

 

Earlier, hosts England defeated India by 4 wickets in the second T20 International in Manchester. The first match between both the sides ended with no result due to rain.
