MEA Holds Special Media Briefing on Outcomes of PM’s France Visit

The Ministry of External Affairs today conducted a special media briefing in Nice on the outcomes of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit to Nice, France. The briefing focused on the Prime Minister’s bilateral talks with French President Emmanuel Macron and the growing momentum in the India-France Special Global Strategic Partnership.

The briefing was addressed by Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri in the presence of Additional Secretary (Europe West) Piyush Srivastava, Official Spokesperson of the Ministry of External Affairs Randhir Jaiswal and Ambassador of India to France Sanjeev Singla. The officials highlighted the key outcomes of the Prime Minister’s engagements in Nice, including the joint inauguration of Bharat Innovates and discussions aimed at strengthening cooperation in innovation, technology, trade, investment and strategic sectors.

The briefing also noted that the two leaders reviewed progress in the India-France Special Global Strategic Partnership and reaffirmed their commitment to further expanding cooperation across a wide range of areas.
