Manipur Chief Minister Yumnam Khemchand Singh today launched BRICS Sustainable Lifestyle Week 2026 and flagged off a Cyclothon at Khuman Lampak in Imphal. The weeklong programme is organised by the Government of Manipur till 7 November with the objective of promoting sustainable and environmentally responsible lifestyle among the people.
During the programme, the Chief Minister administered a pledge to protect the environment and along with other distinguished guests, planted saplings at the Khuman Lampak Sports Complex. He also flagged off around 200 cyclists from Khuman Lampak who proceeded through various locations in Imphal city before returning to Khuman Lampak again.
