Maharashtra to build 145 Railway Over Bridges in 3-years

In Maharashtra, Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis today announced that 145 railway over bridges (ROBs) will be constructed across Maharashtra over the next  3 years to eliminate railway level crossings and enhance road safety.
 
He was speaking after inaugurating 9 railway infrastructure projects, including four Road Over Bridges (ROBs), four underpasses (subways) and one Road Under Bridge (RUB), at a function held in Nagpur. Union Minister for Road Transport and Highways Nitin Gadkari was also present on the occasion.
 
Highlighting the challenges involved in railway bridge construction, Mr. Fadnavis said the State has made systematic and rapid progress in executing complex railway infrastructure projects in Nagpur and Mumbai.
