Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde will inaugurate the ‘Meri Mati, Mera Desh’ campaign at Mumbai’s August Kranti Maidan tomorrow.
During the course of the campaign which will run till 14th August, all districts, talukas, and gram panchayats will carry out activities like the unveiling of Shilaphalakam, which is a memorial engraving the names of local martyrs.
 
They will also hold a PanchPran ceremony, wherein citizens will be encouraged to take an oath, promising to focus on making India a developed country, uphold unity and solidarity, fulfill duties as citizens, and respect those who protect the nation.
