Madhya Pradesh Police’s ‘Nashe se Doori Hai Jaruri 2.0’ campaign has created a new world record, with the Indore Police Commissionerate administering an online anti-drug pledge to 1,75,451 people simultaneously. The achievement has been recognised by the World Book of Records, London.

 

Students, teachers, police personnel, social organisations and citizens took part in the state’s largest online pledge programme, connected through Zoom, YouTube and social media. Police Commissioner Santosh Kumar Singh administered the pledge from the Indore Police Commissioner’s Office and urged people to stay away from drugs and spread awareness.

 

Last year, Indore Police had set a record with 85,003 participants. This year, participation more than doubled, creating a new milestone.
