Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav launched several development initiatives in Ujjain today. He flagged off the ‘Pankh Marathon’ at Dussehra Maidan and began the city’s road-widening drive being undertaken ahead of Simhasth 2028.

At Mahakal Lok, Dr. Yadav listened to Prime Minister Modis Mann Ki Baat programme and launched the Prime Minister e-Bus Service and ‘Ujjain Darshan! bus service. He also performed bhoomi-pujan and inaugurated development works worth 172 crore 87 lakh rupees. Speaking on the occasion, the Chief Minister said public transport services, which had been discontinued years ago, have now been restored in Ujjain. He also announced that the city will soon get metro train services.
