The Madhya Pradesh government has started an initiative to involve central institutions in the state’s development. The aim is to make Madhya Pradesh prosperous by 2047. A conclave on ‘Contribution of Centrally Funded Institutions for Samriddh Madhya Pradesh@2047’ will be held in Bhopal today.
Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav will inaugurate the conclave at 11 AM. The main focus will be the ‘One Institute-One Promise’ initiative. Each institution will make a commitment for the development of Madhya Pradesh.
The government will present challenges in agriculture, health, education, industry, energy, environment and skill development. More than 130 institutions, including IITs, IIMs, AIIMS, ISRO, DRDO and central universities, will take part. They will use their research and expertise to suggest solutions. MoUs will also be exchanged between the state government and central institutions. These agreements will help in joint research, technical solutions and new projects.
