Madhya Pradesh CM Dr. Mohan Yadav congratulated Mohan Nagar and Bhagwan Das Raikwar on being conferred Padma Shri award

Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav has congratulated Mohan Nagar and Bhagwan Das Raikwar on being conferred the Padma Shri award, saying their contributions have brought pride to the state and serve as an inspiration for society and the younger generation.
 
Mohan Nagar, from Raipuria village in Sarangpur area, has been honoured for his work in environmental and water conservation. Known as the “Water Man”, he has worked in Betul district with tribal communities on river rejuvenation and rainwater harvesting awareness.
 
Bhagwan Das Raikwar has been honoured posthumously for preserving and promoting the traditional martial art form “Akhada” of Bundelkhand. He trained youth, especially girls in self-defence, and conducted camps across India and abroad.
 
Meanwhile, President Droupadi Murmu presented the Padma Awards at Rashtrapati Bhavan during the second Civil Investiture Ceremony. This year, 131 Padma Awards were announced, including Padma Vibhushan, 13 Padma Bhushan and 113 Padma Shri awards.
