Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla has extended his wishes to the citizens on the occasion of Hindi Diwas today. In a social media post, Mr Birla said that from literature and journalism to cinema, television, education, and the digital world, Hindi has become a powerful medium of expression for millions of people. He said that in the age of the internet, social media, digital education, technology, and artificial intelligence, the role of Indian languages is becoming increasingly vital.
The Lok Sabha Speaker emphasised that Hindi is emerging as an effective language for knowledge, science, technology, and modern expression. He further said that Hindi has given identity to India’s confidence, pride, and global stature and it is the responsibility of the citizens to connect Hindi with the new generation, new technologies, and new opportunities.
Defence Minister Rajnath Singh has extended his greetings to the countrymen on the occasion of Hindi Diwas today. In a social media post, Mr Singh said that Hindi is not merely a language, but a powerful expression of India’s culture, civilization, and life values. The Defence Minister added that Hindi is the language that weaves India’s diversity into the thread of unity. He also urged the citizens to resolve to preserve and promote the Hindi language, and make it even more robust in the fields of knowledge, science, technology, and innovation.
