Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla also extended greetings to all the soldiers, officers, and their families of the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) today. In a social media post, Mr Birla said that the CRPF is ceaselessly engaged in the empowerment and security of the nation. He added that the CRPE personnel play an unparalleled role in the security system by steadfastly maintaining the country’s internal security, confronting challenges like terrorism and extremism with indomitable courage.

The Lok Sabha speaker said that the dedication, discipline, and extraordinary valour with which CRPF personnel carry out their responsibilities are a matter of pride and inspiration for the entire nation. He also paid tributes to all the personnel of the force who made the supreme sacrifice while defending the motherland.

Union Home Minister Amit Shah also extended greetings via a social media post. Mr Shah said that since its foundation, the CRPF has set countless milestones of pride by winning every battle to ensure India’s internal security. He added that whether it is stamping out Naxalism or shielding India’s peace and progress with resolute valour, the force has always lived up to the nation’s expectations. He also saluted the personnel who made the supreme sacrifice in the line of duty.
